Last Thursday, Abergavenny honoured the 80th D-Day anniversary with a day of remembrance and community spirit. Local groups like Black Mountain Jazz, Abergavenny Borough Band, and amateur dramatic societies showcased their talents. Thanks to everyone for an unforgettable day.

A lovely couple of hours playing for Armed Forces Day today in Abergavenny. We played a selection of toe tapping tunes from The Beatles to Camila Cabello. Principal Cornet Lucinda Boyland played the Last Post as we remembered those who have served and are no longer with us.

An honour to contribute to the service to celebrate the life of Mrs Sheila Woodhouse. Band Vice-President, just one commitment in a very busy life, one in which she always found the time to give us her friendship. We extend our deepest sympathy to husband Chris, our President.

It was great to welcome High Sheriff of Gwent to our rehearsal last week. The High Sheriff spent time listening to both the junior and senior band before being handed the baton to take the senior band!Thank you for coming along to find out more about our organisation. We hope to see you soon!
