I have purposefully refrained from speaking about the child related to the published LCSPR. Not to silence but as a way to acknowledge that this level of attention must be frightening & overwhelming. This did not happen in a vacuum, this is not isolated. It is systemic racism.

Thanks Martin Barrow for this summary of the #ChildQ report, highlighting race & adultification as influencing factors. As a parent this is terrifying. As someone w/ child safeguarding responsibilities this is an appalling violation of this child’s rights.
