It's wild to think that most of Gen Alpha won't know a world without AI. As millennials who grew up with 16-color games and BMX bikes, we still marvel at - and sometimes fear - the implications of AI.

Reading a physical book was refreshing for the eyes and surprisingly nostalgic and delightful. I got one as a gift. The book is called "I might be wrong". It was excellent. Physical media is back.

Thinking of leaving X. My feed is American politics and culture wars 24/7 and that's what I want to cut off completely from my headspace among many other life changes after recovering from cancer.

My American friend had to pay $6k for a hospital visit. Meanwhile 6 months of cancer treatments, million lab tests, surgery and dozens of doctor visits etc. cost me some hundreds in total Finland. The US "health care" "system" never ceases to amaze me. How can it be so bad?

I upgraded my iPhone from 12 to 16 so I decided to take some better photos. 🤓I think I’m going to buy a nice scanner this year. So these are a few designs from DOOM. I still have the clay models for the Cyberdemon, Space Marine, and Barron. One day I’ll post pics.

For Doom John Carmack created some tech where we used a camera to photograph drawings for walls and the 8 rotations for each frame of animation of clay models. That was my first and nearly only time to sculpt in clay. Lots of fun! These are a few wall sketches I photographed for

The only "time blocking" that works for me is to just right after waking up, go do the thing that needs to get done, NOT caring: - What time is it - How much of it has to get done - DEFINITELY not caring when to stop :) Sometimes hyper focus kicks in and I get massive progress
