IPP released in 2012. Spent 11½ years out. Recalled in 2023 for licence breach, let out again, now recalled again. But why didn’t probation remove licence after 11½ clean years in the community (qualifying period was 10)? Total example of the continuous injustice of the sentence.

This is England. When a council demanded a banner on a bridge saying “beep if you think Starmer is a wanker” was removed People just covered more bridges with banners. In a sort of Spartacus way. “for every one who falls, a thousand will rise” Listen to the beeping 🔥

Its scarcely believable the shocking #IPPscandal continues under a Labour government - it’s one of the most cruel, inhumane and monumental injustices of the past half-century Now Keir Starmer has a chance to end this monstrous injustice. Will he take it? UNGRIPP IPP COMMITTEE IN ACTION

Justice secretary Shabana Mahmood has pledged to invest an additional £700m in probation services by 2028-29  What about IPPs, let's deal with them now, Resentencing them needs to be at the forefront of your mind. Shabana Mahmood has betrayed every IPP by turning her back onthem

So Shabana Mahmood MP has had 14 months as the Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor. So now it's David Lammy's responsibility to finally end the #IPPScandal. Scrap recall & compensate them & their families + ensure they have the resources to live a life of the outside.
