Partnership Schools are enjoying Hoopstarz festivals this week

Year 4 children in SSP schools have taken part in a Health & Well-Being festival. With activists focused around the 5 ways of well-being and took home a booklet to reflect and continue to be active and mindful Thanks to Morrisons Blyth donating fruit to make fruit kebab snacks!

It’s Multi Skills Week! Year 2 children in our SSP schools will be experiencing a multi skills festival focusing on their agility, balance & coordination, organised and ran by sports leaders from middle & secondary schools

Today is the start of our Year 1 OAA festivals. Lots of excellent team work on show and brilliant ideas being showcased. Thank you to todays host schools Whalton CofE Primary School and Newminster Middle for your fabulous sports leaders and lovely hospitality.

Class 1 had an amazing time today working as a team. They were den building, running obstacle courses and playing parachute games! We loved hosting lots of schools at Whalton today. Thank you very much to Active Nland PE & School Sport for a brilliant morning!

We started the year with 2 great Year 5 festivals at Morpeth Chantry Middle School & Newminster Middle Schools with problem solving challenges and team games. A big focus on teamwork and building relationships to aid with transition into Middle School. Lots of fun had by all! #makeactivememories

Hundreds of children from across our partnership schools had brilliant days at our centres across Northumberland. Challenging themselves on Clip n Climb or having some competition with their friends at bowling. Amazing days had by all! Well done everyone #NationalFitnessDay
