Deaths data has been released for week ending 25 Oct. 11,012 deaths registered in England & Wales this week. Includes 282 Covid deaths - highest since Feb. Year-to-date 465,722 deaths have been registered. CMI analysis of age-standardised mortality rates expected later today

The CMI has released its weekly mortality monitor. Age-standardised death rates year to date continue to track the best year on record (2019) fairly closely. Death rates were higher this week though, towards the middle of the 2011-19 range.

Just gonna go on record and say that alcohol-free beer is not the drinking equivalent of vaping. In fact it’s basically the opposite when you give it a moment’s thought. Opposing alcohol-free beers seems incredibly dumb.
