I hope you'll check out our new preprint where we show that huntingtin phosphorylation at S421 enhances kinesin and dynein forces on endosomes. On early endosomes, this results in shifting motility to the cell periphery, while lysosomes show enhanced displacement.

Sharing our new preprint! Here, Daniel Beaudet shows that the numbers and types of motors associated with phagosomes changes with maturation, dictating their motility and response to tau.

Attention all those applying to the Project Grant competition! We were not as clear as we could have been regarding new requirements for font types and sizes in the Project Grant application instructions. Here is what you need to know ⤵️

New paper from the lab! Daniel Beaudet shows that early phagosomes are transported by heterogeneous sets of kinesin-1, kinesin-3, and dynein motors resulting in long, directed runs.
