Crowdsourcing for my undergrad misinformation course. Looking for readings on: (1) The role of AI in creating/spreading misinfo , (2)Using AI to fight misinfo (3) The legal/regulatory framework surrounding misifo and related free speech concerns. Accessible academic best. Thanks!

Gig alert at MIT Election Lab. We have an opening for a Research Support Associate position in the lab, which is ideal for someone just graduating who wants to see what research at a place like MIT is like. Pass it around. careers.peopleclick.com/careerscp/clie…

I worked on crowdsourcing internally at FB from 2018-2020. Also was on academic advisory team for Birdwatch (later Community Notes). Not inherently a bad idea, but the proof is in the details (of which I have no knowledge). Could go right or wrong in lots of ways.

Reactivating my account briefly to test out crowdsourcing here vs. bluesky: Any recs from people for good (short) guides for undergraduates on reading experimental social science papers?

My book, Political Rumors, will be coming out in paperback this fall. I have 3 more weeks to make any corrections/catch typos. Being dyslexic, this isn't my strong suit, so if you have found any typos, please let me know!

Adding a couple weeks to my advanced political behavior syllabus on the fly. Any suggestions for good recent work on the impact of local context (could also include other contextual issues such as social desirability)?
