Here we have Adam Hines challenging himself by attempting to present not one, but two posters simultaneously at #ICRA2024 IEEE ICRA. So not only will he have a hoarse voice, but perhaps also a sore neck! #VPRTempo #VisualPlaceRecognition Tobias Fischer QUTRobotics

Last paper from my PhD is out now as an early release. In it, we explore a mechanism of general anesthesia that affects only excitatory neurons using Drosophila brains. Combines super resolution, pHluorin, and calcium imaging to discover this phenomenon jneurosci.org/content/early/…

A (nearly) whopping 80k people read my article in the The Conversation - Australia + New Zealand - with a few media follow-up requests to boot. Great to see the interest in what we found with general anesthesia If you haven't seen it yet, check out our paper here tinyurl.com/5n7e3djr

Playing around with our Hexapod robot and getting ready for some upcoming experiments! Definitely turns heads around the QUT Gardens Point campus as she scuttles about πŸ€–

Our JNeuro paper is out now in full and was featured by SfN Journals as one of the most discussed articles for the entire month of May. Great to see so much discussion and interest in our work understanding how general anaesthetics work πŸ”¬πŸ§  Full paper πŸ“„ doi.org/10.1523/JNEURO…
