The frustrating part about #Gators in redzone is Napier doesn’t make any adjustments. Insistence on doing what he WANTS to do and not what defense - or his own personnel - is giving him. Refuses to get Lagway on the edge and take advantage of his legs in short yardage spots

The funny thing about Napier becoming know for the “scared money” comment when he was hired is that he coaches in the exact opposite manner. You couldn’t coach more scared if you tried 🙈#Gators

No question that the #Gators defense is much improved since the bye week. Tackling is still sloppy, but they are playing with an aggressiveness and intensity that was missing the first part of the season

Lots of things to complain about with Napier, but a basic one on display multiple times today is failing to call a short yardage play to get into FG range on 3rd and super long around the 40. Well coached teams do that… #Gators do not.

Defense has racked up the sacks today, but simply cannot get off the field when it matters. Different style of picking up the big 3rd and 4th downs, but reminiscent of the 2007 game when #Gators got mauled on money downs and lost in Baton Rouge

This was a huge win for #Gators and obviously Napier. It certainly wasn’t perfect, but for first time since Utah in 22, they made enough key plays down the stretch to beat a big-time opponent. A desperately needed shot for the program and clear path to a bowl - and real progress!
