Saw a Short-eared Owl in flight which seemed to drop miles away, but clearly didn't as walked into it a few minutes later. First Wheatear too in the same area, Angmering. Sussex Birding Sussex Ornithology Worthing Birding and Wildlife





3 Cuckoos at RSPB Pulborough Brooks this morning made for good viewing from the café, and stole the show. Green-winged Teal was a good Sussex tick although a bit underwhelming as its slept !! Sussex Birding Sussex Ornithology Sussex Wildlife Trust 🦔

Headstart Curlew "P0" at C/Norton today. One of the 2022 Norfolk birds. Possibly the bird you saw recently Alan Kitson Good numbers of Little Tern about, plus a summer plumage Knot, 15 Grey Plover, 11 Sanderling. A few Common Tern about but no sign of the Roseate Tern.
