Going long fuel ā›½ļø I first predict how long the route will take. Then use 90g CHO/hr as a baseline for anything over for 3 hours. Then source of CHO. The last time I did this route it took me just under 3 hours, but better to be conservative, have more and not be depleted.

Endurance ride out to Carter Lake this afternoon. Steady effort, kept it aerobic on the climbs, and took in 90g carbs/hour. Trending faster and pleased with my bike fitness heading into the second half of the year (my racing season). Exciting things ahead.
