In an ill advised move I made a somewhat highbrow documentary about the changes in pub interiors throughout the 19th and 20th centuries... on YouTube. Over 50 hours of work. What a terrible waste of time. All people want is inane cat videos. youtu.be/cFPbuJsCIxE

⭐ OUT NOW - It's EARLY!! ⭐ One of my biggest video concepts yet, exporing the possible connection between the earliest stone settings at Stonehenge and a possible migration from Ireland around 3000BC! ⭐ LINK: youtu.be/5sDFVoy6fOI #youtube #archaeology

This is, by far the worst kind of comment I get on YouTube. As if modern place names don’t simply inform where things are. It’s the “the amp goes up to 11” of geography.

I’m assembling a team… 🤔 The ‘prehistoric standing stones silhouetted against cool trees’ gang. #Archaeology #History #megalith

A burial cist found recently at the Carlisle dig. No remains were found, so it's probably been robbed out at a later date. It is on a north/south orientation, which means it probably isn't Christian. Current thinking is a date of very late Roman.

Not sure how accurate 'MyTrueAncestry' is, but apparently I'm a modern-day King Arthur. A Celtic Brithonic god among men... ⛈️ #DNA #ancestry #archaeology

I think my next YouTube video will be on the idea that the term ‘Anglo-Saxon’ is offensive. (not my idea!) 😵‍💫 Probably silly to dip my toe into something so controversial. But a great excuse to film a load of Anglo-Saxon stuff! #archaeology #history #YouTube

NEW VIDEO NOW LIVE! The LBK was a patriarchal, warlike society of freedom loving settlers who continually expanded the frontier of Neolithic life across Europe. But why did they build these enormous longhouses? I hope you enjoy the video. Shares much appreciated. Cheers!

We need some kind of law, making notable lost heritage sites perminent greenspaces within development sites 🤔 Ideally reconstruct them, and add infoboards etc.
