A big thankyou to Sammy's Climb Higher Foundation for installing the concrete foundation for our greenhouse and to Ms. Ivey in securing a $3000 grant from the Whole Kids to help with the greenhouse cost. Thanks as well to Sun Valley Greenhouses 🌱🌻 for supply and install.
Re-listening to Jan Hasbrouck talk about fluency. Love how she tells students to “make it sound like you talk so that your brain understands it. You want your brain to understand it.” I’ve always said the first part but need to include the latter too!! podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/mel…

Our Grade Five friends travelled to the Colony of Avalon in Ferryland for their first field trip of the year! What a spectacular day of exploring a local archeological site, examining artifacts and of course, many bus ride sing-a-longs! Admiral’s Academy Navigators 🏳️🌈
