An honour to be awarded the Barber Prize for best oral presentation by British Mass Spectrometry Society, thank you to everyone at the LeneyMassSpectrometry and CooperGroup groups for their support. And of course thank you to the organisers of #BMSS42. Was such a fun and informative conference! 🎉🎉

In collisional activation ion mobility-MS, protein unfolding is thought to maintain solution-like behavior. To verify this, the Kostas Thalassinos lab used a mobile proton algorithm to study a well-known protein’s unfolding. go.acs.org/2QL

Blimey. Another absolutely jaw dropping exclusive from Gabriel Pogrund w Harry Yorke

We are looking for a postdoc to join our team at @Astbury_BSL The Astbury Centre to study ribosome specialisation by cryoEM and structural MS. This is part of a £5.7m project that aims to unravel the ‘ribosome code’ jobs.ac.uk/job/CWN807/res… FontanaLab julie aspden

PhD viva ✅. Of course my morning train from London to Birmingham was cancelled which was exciting… Big thanks to Helen Cooper and Matthias Trost of Matthias Trost 🇪🇺 for examining. And a special thanks to Aneika and LeneyMassSpectrometry group for the last 4 years. It was an absolute blast!

Fantastic day with Waters Corporation and friends, discussing cyclic ion mobility and mass spec. Aisha Ben-Younis talk on her PhD work was fantastic! We’ll miss her when she finishes!

Delighted to present some of my PhD work London Biological Mass Spec Discussion Group! Thanks to the organisers, it was a great afternoon and nice to see so many familiar faces from industry and academia!

An amazing day seeing familiar faces and enjoying the culmination of 4 years of hard work! Thank you to everyone in the LeneyMassSpectrometry and CooperGroup labs that supported me.

Congratulations to all UoB Biosciences 2023 graduates. Great to see lab members Billie, Adam, Polina, Katie, Charlotte and Tegen collecting their degrees along with my first PhD student Kish Adoni

A pleasure to attend BMSS as ever! Huge thanks to all those involved in organising the conference. And years of battleships practice helped me pick the pixel Waters Corporation!

Last chance to register for the upcoming British Mass Spectrometry Society biomolecular structure SIG meeting - registration closes on Sunday! An excellent programme of talks and posters - see the website for more information. Join us for what is set to be a great meeting!!

Was a pleasure to attend the #BMSS Biomacromolecular SIG, and I was privileged to chair a session. Amazing work going on in this space right now! I was also honoured to win the Poster prize. A huge thank you to LeneyMassSpectrometry, Anton Calabrese and joseph gault for organising!

I was privileged to chair London Biological Mass Spec Discussion Group at the Francis Crick Institute! We had some wonderful speakers including Prof. Jyothi Choudhary, Prof Jesmond Dalli and Dr J. J Philips and they did not disappoint! Talks included advances in high-throughput proteomics, HDX and much more!
