We worked harder so you don't have to 🛠️ This week we released new features to power self-service analytics powered by #GenAI. Want to learn about these new updates? Check out this blog: okt.to/oJdsi7 #BigData #Analytics #AI #ArtificialIntellegence

Q1 .What an incredible time to be a data leader. Most don't have an effective strategy. We are still struggling to master the emerging AI capabilities (understand, prioritize, integrate, sustain) and we lack a focused line of sight for prioritizing business use cases. #eWEEKchat

A2) The obvious answer would be AI anything. I'm going to be more specific and highlight self-service enablement via data products. Enabling teams to drive and share their own insight with speed and confidence is as powerful a game changer as anything else. #eWEEKchat

Data quality. Data Access. It is frustrating because we have been struggling (not succeeding) with the same challenges for a long time, we need a new, modern approach.#eWEEKchat

Adrian Estala (@adrianestala_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

A4) We need to rethink our approach. Instead of focusing effort on the infinite rows and columns on the furthest end of our architecture, we need to focus our efforts on the quality and access to data products that sit within arms reach of our consumers.  #eWEEKchat

Adrian Estala (@adrianestala_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

A4) continued... Prioritize the quality effort where it is valued, define the right access rules after you aggregate the data into a product. #eWEEKchat

A5) Self-service. As a CDO, one of my favorite moments was being a part of a business focused data citizen enablement program. I would replicate that everywhere. If you want the business to move fast, let them drive! #eWEEKchat

A6) The engineer in me expects a complete transformation for how we think of and use data. But, as a grey haired IT veteran, I understand we have a tremendous amount of work to do in establishing reliable governance frameworks to make all of this 'hype' a reality. #eWEEKchat

Adrian Estala (@adrianestala_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

A7) There are even bigger shifts on the horizon for the back-end data architecture. On the front end, we are rapidly enabling users with more tools. These dependencies could cripple our ability to maintain growth and innovation. #eWEEKchat

Adrian Estala (@adrianestala_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

A7) continued...We need to make sure that we are building a sustainable abstraction layer that can enable flexibility and change on the back end, without disrupting the data science and business consumers on the front. #eWEEKchat

Adrian Estala (@adrianestala_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

A8) Focus on people. Create a culture that celebrates new ideas, data-driven decisions and embraces rapid iteration. #eWEEKchat

A9) What percentage of our data is actually used to drive business decisions? If we could find a way to identify and focus our time on that small percentage, we could all get our weekends and holidays back. :) #eWEEKchat
