Groups/parties (other than FF and SF) in the Oireachtas that have not yet nominated/supported a presidential candidate Labour (13) Independent Ireland (4) Aontú (3) Greens (2) Solidarity (1) Independents - excluding those who nominated Catherine Connolly (13 TDs 11 Senators)

In short, there's probably just about enough remaining left-leaning Oireachtas nominations to support another left-leaning, Labour-backed (whether official or unofficial), presidential election candidate, but not easy to get those numbers given the nature of this group...

As people continue to speculate on the race for the presidency the only thing I’ll say at this point is to remember that the presidency is a sprint not a marathon.

This would mean at least 182 TDs in the next Dáil If population growth levels continue as of now, this number could be up to around 190 by Census 2027

In men's competitions, in the past not a great difference, but more recently 8 of the last 10 Euros & World Cups have been won by the team whose semi-final came first & had the extra day to rest /prepare.
