Huge congratulations to Principle on the win! Action for Children are so proud to have worked alongside you on our #ChildrenAtTheTable campaign, along with our colleagues from NSPCC, Barnardo’s, The Children's Society and National Children's Bureau ❤️

We are attending Action for Children’s launch for Paying the Price of Child Poverty. The research shows that scrapping the 2 child limit is essential to reducing child poverty. Just focusing on measures like employment support for parents is not enough. Liz Kendall Bridget Phillipson

We joined End Child Poverty in Westminster this morning to stand together against rising child poverty. Today's figures show 4.5 million children are now in poverty in the UK - and yesterday’s benefit reforms will push an additional 50,000 children into poverty by 2030.

This weekend marks the 8th year the two-child limit on benefit payments has been in place. 1 child every 13 mins falls into poverty because of this policy. The govt must scrap it, and the overall cap, in the upcoming Child Poverty Strategy End Child Poverty Action for Children

Alongside Child Poverty Action Group, Barnardo’s & others, we wrote to Keir Starmer to urge him to deliver the real change that children & families need. Without ambitious action, it could be the first time child poverty significantly rises under a Labour government. 1/2 mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

Child Poverty Action Group Barnardo’s Keir Starmer The two-child limit pushes more & more children into poverty every day & will act as a brake on any other action taken by government to reduce poverty. There can be no road to sustainable national growth unless child poverty reduces at scale & pace. #NoLimitsToChildhood 2/2

We’re one of 70+ orgs united in standing with the Prime Minister’s commitment to the early years. Together, we’re urging Keir Starmer to support children & families from conception to reception by making this ambition a reality at the #SpendingReview2025. buff.ly/RVogQQq
