‘I have come to appreciate the beauty of the musicality of all languages’ We are sad to hear that Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, one of African fiction’s most significant figures, has died. Among many accolades, he was nominated for the International Booker Prize twice, in 2009 and 2021.
