I think that it's a double-edged sword. There are so many soft skills that should be mastered to function beyond the school environment that I'm leaning more towards workforce readiness. It also addresses a more immediate need. #EdChat

When it's used prudently, online learning can be greatly beneficial, but when it's used as a pacifier or to just keep kids busy with little to no structure, then it's a detriment. #edchat

My argument against online learning is that it's too "fast." Keyboarding is not an effective fine motor skill for learning like writing by hand is. #edchat
