SK Crop Report to 08/05; Lentils are 8% harvested provincially with another 7% "ready". As expected, the Southern part of the province leads the way with 10% complete. We are thinking that the first available Lentil crops will have the best overall colour. bit.ly/3WUnsCm

To strike or not to strike? CPKC's decision to lock out rail employees at 00:01 on August 22 is a calculated risk because history shows a clear pattern of "back-to-work" legislation in - at most - a couple of weeks. bit.ly/3YI1zrA

Rail Strike Ending? Everybody's talkin' about imminent "back-to-work" legislation, but they seem to be overlooking the fact that Canadian parliament isn't set to sit again until September 16? Will "Back to work" notices disrupt summer breaks for our MP's. bit.ly/3AyCpkV

Keep on keeping on; It's times like this that we have an opportunity to showcase the value we bring to the agri-food supply chain. We do this best by providing tools to our customers so they can keep on shipping during this rail disruption. Stay tuned for more. #railstrike
