Great discussions at Col McMaster DPIRD site about canola establishment - seed size and quality, soil moisture, sowing depth, stubble, press wheels and the idea of moisture sensing tynes for on-the-go seeding depth adjustment. Great discussions @GRDC canola establishment project.

More rock than I’ve seen exposed for a few years on Mt Painter in Canberra - dry autumn and now cold winter. Any March-sown grazing crops for those who got rain and managed to get them up and away would be very valuable this year I imagine.
