There was a legacy right-wing media vs. new MAGA media power struggle over the past week. Fox News was pushing Trump toward escalation. Bannon, Tucker, and others were pushing him toward non-intervention. Trump is easily manipulated. Fox News won this round pretty quickly.

So Iran’s attack was telegraphed in advance to Qatar. Most missiles were intercepted. So far no casualties or major damage. This appears to be a symbolic proportional response, perhaps seeking to deescalate, unless it’s a misdirection. We’ll see. How Trump responds will be key
