Where does hydrogen make sense and where not? Over the last year several assessments have been published answering this question. Below is a selection from Energy Transitions Commission Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research PIK @fraunhofer_iee Michael Liebreich - @MLiebreich.bsky.social They have their differences but all agree: not for heating.

Good piece by George Monbiot : “Sustaining our life-support systems means doing less of almost everything.” theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Thanks so much University of Nottingham Energy Institute for inviting me and allowing me the space to talk about so many of my current research interest. Great and challenging questions afterwards too.

Great to see the first paper from our special issue on Decarbonisation and Energy Poverty #makingdecarbonisationfair. Siddharth Sareen explores links between energy vulnerability and transport decarb in Norway. Watch this space for more papers to come. People, Place and Policy Journal

The Energy Bill Support Scheme doesn’t prioritise those most vulnerable to #FuelPoverty & puts money into the pockets of some who do not need it. There’s knowledge out there about how best to help households in/at risk of FP. In fact, the knowledge isn’t out there, it’s here ⬇️
