This afternoon, Ruth Barry & Aisling Playford joined Department of Health & Northern Ireland Social Care Council at Northern Ireland Assembly to launch the Social Care Workforce Strategy 2025-2035 and Care in Practice Framework. It's great to hear from Minister Mike Nesbitt for the opening address!


A fully funded plan to enable a strong & supported social care workforce to meet the needs of NI's population into the future is truly critical. Glad to hear Mike Nesbitt support this 10 year plan and the vision to take us to a stronger place Northern Ireland Social Care Council Aine Morrison Department of Health
