Full disclaimer: I got lost at #MEGA22. Those rooms confuse me. Wandered into the closest room. Oh my...Damon West started talking. About being a coffee bean. And he even talked about Nick Saban. If I was still in charge of Institute, we’d be having this guy. What a story!

I am all about learning from these partners! They are incredible resources for so many in the Mobile area. The Coaching Framework in action - that’s the high-level learning this morning @ #MEGA22. It’s soon to come to our internship experiences at Spring Hill College.

I had the privilege of meeting with various advocacy groups that support students with dyslexia. We had 3 different DISCUSSION FORUMS. Great progress in our state has been made since the Alabama Literacy Act in 2019, and great ideas shared for moving forward. Alabama State Department of Education

Local Reading Specialist Orientation 2022 was a success! We have many new LRSs accepting the challenge of the Alabama Literacy Act's role and expectations for an LRS. We are excited to guide them on their journey of supporting our schools with the goal of EMPOWERING others!

MSLE Training for this Cohort is now in the books. This wonderful group of educators are now better equipped to support students needing intervention, and are on their way to be a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT). You can too! Contact use for more information.
