Appears folks are mad at me for passing along the quote below. Note that last year Bryson himself said of his Open chances (sans irony), “I can do it when it’s warm and not windy.” Today is likely to be the easiest scoring day of this Open. Let’s see how he fares on the weekend!

Spectacular array of logos on my flight from Dublin to Chicago. I counted 16 related to the Open, 4 Royal County Down, 2 Portstewart and one apiece from Holywood, Ardglass, Castlerock, Portmarnock, Waterville and Lahinch. Golf logos have to be a huge part of the Irish economy!
