We had a great turnout for our nature journaling program today, despite the blustery winds. Some young journalers took advantage of the charred stems of big blue stem grass and scrub oak twigs, left behind after a prescribed fire, to create charcoal drawings!

We could see a great benefit if the Bond Act proposed by Archive: Governor Andrew Cuomo is passed this Nov. It would help mitigate the issues of climate change locally by protecting more Pine Bush for generations to come.
