Coalition for Action on 1325 young peace ambassadors

Women lead and benefit from inclusive peace and security. This week, in partnership with CEWERU, we have facilitated the process and formed 3 sub county peace committees to spearhead work on conflict early warning, analysis and response. UN Women Uganda Norway MFA


UN Women Uganda Norway MFA Out of 45 members, 22 women (49%) have made it to the peace committees from 3 lower local governments. This is an effort to have women lead and influence discussions and decisions in peacebuilding processes. Robinah Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP)
