Phone interviews took place last week for the next Head Football Coach. The search is narrowing down.

The four finalists for the head coaching position are current interim coach Todd McDaniel, former Memphis defensive coordinator Jay Hopson,

& former Kentucky State head coach Fred Farrier and Northern Colorado (and former Alcorn) offensive coordinator Michael Armour.

The search committee for the Head Football Coach has selected the top four candidates for the position.

President M. Christopher Brown II would like for faculty and staff to be available to meet with each candidate.

The interviews will be in the Math and Science Building/Arts & Sciences Conference Room from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30p.m. on Monday April 23, 2012.

Interview times: 9:00 a.m. -9:45 a.m. 10:00 a.m. -10:45 a.m. 11:00a.m. - 11:45 a.m. 12:45 p.m. -1:30 p.m. 1:45 p.m. -2:30 p.m.

The four finalists will be interviewed today and a coach will be announced next Saturday following the team's spring game.

Head football coach announcement to occur Commencement week

The announcement scheduled immediately after the Spring Game this Saturday April 28 will now occur during Commencement week (May 7-11, 2012)
