Recently the Computer Science department took 30 GCSE and A Level students to Tokyo, Japan. Over the course of 6 days, our pupils immersed themselves in a new culture and gained valuable knowledge about life in Japan.

Recently we welcomed close to 300 Year 6 pupils to sit the 11+ entrance exam. This was followed by a fabulous science workshop for them all to enjoy. Good luck to all the candidates!

Our Year 12 Biology pupils have been learning about gas exchange systems in different organisms today as part of their A Level course. The study of gas exchange systems unveils the remarkable adaptations organisms have evolved to thrive in their respective environments.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated Chinese New Year as a school with an array of different traditional Chinese dishes. A huge thank you to Holroyd Howe, for creating an incredible special lunch to celebrate!

20 of our students had the incredible opportunity to explore Westminster recently. At the UK Supreme Court, they delved into a 2017 case and debated constitutional roles. They enjoyed a tour of the iconic Houses ofParliament, which included witnessing debates on education!

This term, our children have been enjoying their photography enrichment lessons! From diving into theory to mastering the camera, we've been honing our skills with indoor shoots using lights, photo boxes, and props. Take a look at some of their images!

Year 8 had a magical day at Warner Bros Studios! One of our students, Joe Clark, has written about their trip: 'There were many interactive features throughout this trail such as moving objects and the opportunity to take photos on the broom!'

We recently had another successful Year 10 Careers Challenge! Students from Year 10 and Year 12 worked together, crafting cover letters and CVs, then participating in interviews. The dedication and respect between the years were commendable, with valuable feedback exchanged.

A few weeks ago we had a fantastic Year 11 focused day at Aldenham! The day started with tailored revision sessions, helping students to ace their GCSE exams with top study techniques and organisational tips. They also got a taste of Sixth Form life! Well done, Year 11s!

Exciting opportunities are on the horizon for our Year 12s as they welcomed representatives from the Armed Forces to explore diverse career paths! A thought provoking session indeed, leaving students with much to ponder!
