It is truly amazing that the successor to St. Peter was born in Chicago. Knowing the vicar of Christ called our city home highlights how 2,000 years of church history and tradition touches the everyday experiences we see as Chicagoans.

From art displays at the cultural center to the budget that drives city finances, Mayor Brandon Johnson cannot help himself when it comes to elevating anti-semitism and hate for certain groups in our city.

Some of us in Chicago but not enough have been calling out antisemitism because we know that hate leads to violence and we saw that last night. This hate movement that found home in Chicago ended up taking two innocent lives in Washington, DC.

I'm sick of brain-washed kids trying to add meaning to their lives by causing chaos & violence. While CPD was pulled from districts to go downtown to handle want-to-be revolutionaries, people were still being shot, robbed, and battered across Chicago.
