Great to see so many Year 11 in school taking advantage of Easter revision sessions in preparation for their GCSEs this summer. A huge well done to them and our fabulous teachers.

The English department are incredibly excited to be offering the Alderwood Book Award with year 8 pupils. Starting this week, pupils will be reading these four books nominated and crowning their overall winners. Stay tuned for updates!

A big well done to our Year 6 students who entered the recent UK Maths Challenge. The students did an amazing job and received 2 Bronze, 2 Silver and 1 Gold Award (well done Yakub)! Many thanks to Mrs Eaves for organising and helping the students achieve such fantastic results!

We are so proud of Dylan in Y6, who has taken part in the ground breaking for the new park being built on the Wellesley estate.  Dylan helped to plan the perfect accessible park after consulting the local community. He has been presented with a special engraved spade. Well done!

Alderwood Year 6’s at our tournament today. Played brilliantly and made it to the cup play-offs. Came 4th out of 8 overall so a good day!
