We're proud to partner with the Dept of Women, Youth & Persons with Disabilities for a discussion on building public-private partnerships to support the gender mainstreaming agenda in the #G20, under the theme: 'Advancing Financial Inclusion & Economic Empowerment for Women through Sustaininable Partnerships'.

At the Dept of Women, Youth & Persons with Disabilities x UN Women #G20 CEOs breakfast, UN Women South Africa MCO Rep. Aleta Miller emphasized that despite progress, women still battle entrenched poverty & systemic barriers. The solution? Strategic partnerships, blended finance & intentional investment in women-led enterprises.

Strategic partnerships are key to our mission for gender equality and women's empowerment. We recently met with H.E. Ambassador Mahash of UAE Embassy Pretoria to discuss advancing opportunities for women and girls across South Africa.

“People are surprised that this girl from the village can do all these jobs. I’m from a place where most women are not working. I just want to do it differently.” 👉🏾Read Marie Claire's story on how #EntreprenHER🇧🇼 is impacting lives in Botswana: shorturl.at/t2KWs.

"AGCCI represents far more than a training programme. It is building momentum for a movement of empowerment. It’s equipping girls with digital skills to not just join the digital economy but to lead it, own it, and make it their own." UN Women South Africa MCO Rep,Aleta Miller
