While I won't be doing NaNoWriMo in November I have decided I will be doing MandoWriMo. Basically its the same, try to write my butt off during the month with posting my numbers each day under the #MandoWriMo. Feel free to join in using same hashtag. Let's get some words done!

Day 1 of #MandoWriMo consisted of no words as I was out of the house most of the day. Day 2 was better with 654 in my short story featuring mobsters vs zombies #amwriting #horror

Day 3 of #MandoWriMo was a day off to spend some quality time relaxing with the wife Day for got 617 done between two projects despite not really feeling like writing. Got a lot of other stuff done as well so over all I’m calling it a win

#MandoWriMo day 5 was able to get 363 words don’t. Can’t remember why I didn’t get more done. Day 6. Didn’t get anything day. Took time to processes everything and took care of Peanut post spay surgery (she’s already back to her playful happy self)

#MandoWriMo day 6 my best day yet with 1,076 split between two projects. I guess it helps having a kitten locked in my office recovering from being spayed Day 7 went to help my mom wash her walls and move some furniture before they were painted even got 141 words squeezed in

20 days ago I learned a publisher was looking for a 20k zombie novella. Seeing a challenge I reached out to see if they would give me 20 days to submit something for consideration. They agreed Now 20 days and 20,137 words later the novella is done! Going to edit then send it off

Welp I guess I learned a lesson today. Spent around 20 minutes adding open calls from a publisher to my spreadsheet only to find out they use (at least one) A.I covers. Always do your research folks!
