I met with amazing students at my last seminar with UW Chemical Engineering ! They were engaged, ready with questions and sent follow-up emails. I created a resource for our students to help them engage with speakers. Students often don't realize how they can benefit from these experiences.

At ASEE, Kristin Bennett gave a wonderful talk about our UW Chemical Engineering DEIA Committee work on recording lectures, which won ASEE 2024 Best PIC I Paper!! We’re honored to win an award for this work and I’m so glad to be part of this amazing team of undergrads, faculty, and staff!

A publication authored by #ChemE students, staff and faculty won the PIC1 - Best Paper Award and the Joseph J. Martin Award at this year’s ASEE, ASEE Diversity Conference! Learn more and read the paper: tinyurl.com/ASEEDEIAAwards Alex Prybutok David Bergsman #STEM #DEIA
