Thrilled to join a great group of Moffitt Cancer Center team members, advocates, researchers and clinicians in D.C.! Kicking off three days of advocacy, meetings with members of congress, #RallyMedRes and a briefing on the importance of #LungCancer screening. #MoffittDCFlyIn Rally for Medical Research
Enjoying Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory #BioData22 conference. Lots of novel methods and tools enabling the next wave of big data analyses. Can't wait to share our spatial statistical methods for mIF images and findings in high grade serous OC. Moffitt Cancer Center
Congrats everyone in the #hackathon2022 at Moffitt Cancer Center!! Was a wonderful challenge and exciting event! Now comes the hard part of refining and making "pretty" for investigators everywhere to analyze mass spec data easily and on the fly! #ShinyR
Happy to share #curatedPCaData - an #R package that integrates many data types from 19 prostate cancer studies into a single location for easy exploration and validation. Brooke Fridley
Great day to start the @M2GEN #ORIEN retreat at Huntsman Cancer Institute! Fantastic network of scientists working together to study massive cohorts and solve cancer.
Great opportunity to meet Toni Choueiri, MD and @AriHakimi at #KCRS23. Champions of kidney cancer!
An interactive version of the R package #spatialGE by Oscar Ospina is not live at spatialge.moffitt.org . If you have spatial transcriptomic data, check it out! New age of RNA analyses.
Happy to have our spatial transciptomic kidney cancer paper online bioRxiv Cancer Bio. Currently under review and amazing adventure with great spatial findings. Check it out on and see the power of #SpatialTranscriptomics Brooke Fridley doi.org/10.1101/2023.1…
With spatial -omics in mind, check out out single-cell spatial point pattern simulation package for #R. Currently available on #CRAN and able to simulate both spatial protein and spatial transcriptomic data fro method benchmarking. Brooke Fridley fridleylab.github.io/scSpatialSIM/i…
Further understanding the tumor environment to shed light on differences in histological subtypes and patient survival. Wonderful study Oscar Ospina
Great to hear all the impactful work going into kidney cancer research. Happy to share the spatial biology (mIF and single cell spatial transcriptomics) we (Mitch Hayes) worked on with pRCC in the Manley Lab. Spatial contexture is critical to communication in the TIME. #KCRS24
