📣 Thank you mark mucke 📣 Barry has decided to step down as captain after six seasons. Barry captained the club 88 times with 43 wins!

Barry initially joined the club in 2016 when the club were struggling for numbers. After a handful of appearances in 2016, Barry had a breakout season in 2017. Barry lead the team in wickets (17) and scoring his maiden half century.

In 2018, Barry became captain and set about rebuilding the side with several new recruits. Bosbury finished five places higher and finished 3rd place in Marches Division 4 after 9 wins from 16.

In 2019, Bosbury won Marches Division 4 after 11 wins from 13! Barry was instrumental with both bat and ball! Notably taking 22 wickets!

The curtailed 2020 season saw Bosbury move to the Worcester league. Barry guided the side to the semi-final after finishing 2nd in the regional group. Barry again led the team in wickets with 13.

Barry won player of the season in 2022 after a ridiculously good year. He led the team in runs (685) and wickets (38) He scored his first century with a magnificent 123*

Barry is the record wicket taker for the club with 134 wickets. He is also the 4th all-time run scorer with 1823. Barry also leads the club in fielding catches with 43.

Over Barry’s six year reign, he has overseen 30 new recruits and captained 44 different players! Barry is a huge part of the club. He works tirelessly at the ground and a huge player for us. Bosbury couldn’t be luckier to have him. Thank you mark mucke 👏
