We present Topaz Denoiser, a method for denoising cryoEM images based on Noise2Noise. A pre-trained model that takes only a few seconds to denoise an image on a GPU is included, or you can train your own model. Topaz v0.2.1 is available for free here: github.com/tbepler/topaz

Topaz v0.2.3 is out! Thanks to all the testers and developers who helped get Topaz to where it is today. The update adds the general denoising models in the Topaz-Denoise preprint, a pre-trained picking model, & an updated GUI. cb.csail.mit.edu/cb/topaz/ emgweb.nysbc.org/topaz.html

Wow! Cold FEG + Falcon 4 + RELION = 1.22 Å of apoferritin. Great for #CFAR, but what's more impressive is the reconstruction of β3 GABAA receptor with regions resolved to ~1.6 Å! Congrats Sjors Scheres & colleagues! What a day for the #cryoEM community biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
