REALLY EXCEPTIONAL! I'm so excited for Laura & for the attention I hope it brings to her applied, meaningful humanities research on justice & multilingualism. + I implore others to amplify Dr Laura Smith-Khan's news: colleagues and uni media ppl don't always realise how important that is.

Another real pleasure to work on. I’ve followed Dr Smith-Khan’s work for a very long time, so to write this up was lovely. Congratulations! Dr Laura Smith-Khan dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/graft…

Interesting to hear origins of this book academic.oup.com/book/43917, progress in legal practice in recent decades & room for huge further improvements in recognising many more people's experiences of harms that are international crimes & should be prosecuted. Eg by Rosemary Grey:

@sarahshulist Also, work that is demanding, time consuming & requiring advanced expertise, yet entirely unrewarded & not paid. Particularly ironic in "open access" journals, where they expect us to work for free *and* pay for publishing in them. With rising number of journals not sustainable!

Congratulations to Sydney Law School Senior Lecturer louise boon-kuo on being named as a finalist for 'Academic/Researcher of the Year' at the 2022 Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards. #inspiringlegalminds #LeadershipForGood

So proud to add my congratulations to Dr Madiha Neelam (Hearing faces, seeing accents ) who has just published her first book, and very important one at that.
