I appreciate the work done by the NCAA Men’s Wrestling Rules Committee and the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel. However, I have serious reservations about Rule 5.6.1. This is a dangerous situation that I’ve seen go wrong too many times in my relatively brief coaching career.
