Found one of the first #tSNE maps we ever made of #singlecell human data (pancreas, early 2014 in this case) at the Alexander van Oudenaarden lab with Dominic Grün's RaceID! Back when single cell datasets were small enough to carefully look at each cell individually :)

Congratulations Susanne vd Brink for an outstanding PhD defence today. I learned so much from you during your time in the lab. Thank you for bringing #gastruloids to our lab and all the best in Barcelona!

Excited to share our preprints on single-cell chromatin profiling. sortChIC (biorxiv.org/content/10.110ā¦) to profile active and repressive histone modifications during blood formation. scChIX (biorxiv.org/content/10.110ā¦) to map multiple histone modifications in the same single cells.

We are very excited to share our work in nature on developing scRibo-seq, a method for #singlecell ribosome profiling! With Jeroen van den Berg, Amanda Andersson-Rolf, Hans Clevers, and Alexander van Oudenaarden nature.com/articles/s4158⦠1/15

Our work on single-cell ribosome profiling is out! Huge congrats to Michael VanInsberghe who was brave enough to embark on this pretty crazy experiment that turned out to work beautifully. Thank you Jeroen van den Berg, Amanda Andersson-Rolf and Hans Clevers. Check it out: nature.com/articles/s4158ā¦

Exhilarated to share our pre-print describing a novel method, scEdU-seq, to measure DNA replication forks and their speeds in singe cells. Many thanks to Alexander van Oudenaarden, @Bvincentv and others Hubrecht Institute for making it happen! biorxiv.org/content/10.110ā¦

The lab of Alexander van Oudenaarden developed two new methods to study chromatin in single cells. Researchers can use these methods, published in Nature Biotechnology and Nature Genetics, to increase our understanding of chromatin regulation during development. hubrecht.eu/new-methods-foā¦

Save the date! Single Cell Genomics 2023 #SCG2023 takes place Oct. 9-11 2023 in the beautiful mountain town Engelberg in Switzerland! 10th year anniversary of this unique experience. IdoAmitLab, Sten Linnarsson, Alexander van Oudenaarden, MarioniLab, Rickard Sandberg, Aviv Regev, Amos Tanay

Very happy our scEdU-seq manuscript is published in Nature Methods! Big shoutout to vincentvB, Alexander van Oudenaarden @marcelvanvugt, Sergio Perez Acebron and Anchel de Jaime-Soguero for their contribution to the final product! For those interested here is the link to the paper rdcu.be/dK2hL
