65 years ago today, Emmett Till was murdered after a white woman, Carolyn Bryant, told her husband he'd grabbed her waist & uttered obscenities. 62 years later, Bryant admitted she lied. His memorial has had to be replaced because of bulletholes from repeated shootings.
