A beautiful gathering for Iftar at Soul City Arts tonight at part of our Ramadan events.

Thank you to Soul City Arts, Raja Monkey & Mohammed Ali Aerosol for their now traditional cross-community Iftar, which so wonderfully opens up the prayerful solidarity of Ramadan to Muslims & non-Muslims from the great multicultural City of Birmingham. Soul food for sure. 🙏

What an amazing week! As the Ramadan Streets Night Markets wrap up, I'm humbled to have been on this journey with Mohammed Ali Aerosol & Bilal Huge thanks to Soul City Arts, HalalFoodFestival, Cllr Nicky Brennan and everyone involved. This event shows the true power of community & culture!

Around 30,000 people from around the country gathered for an epic Ramadan Streets Night Market transforming an empty car park. It went viral and huge numbers amassed in Small Heath. Calls for a German market style experience were responded to. This is how we roll Soul City Arts
