Happy Hump Day! 40-50,000 humpback whales, Megaptera novaeangliae, are expected to travel up and down the east coast of Australia this May to November as they move from their summer feeding grounds in the Antarctic waters to their breeding grounds in Australian subtropical waters

Bat school is back in session! The team is only a little bit excited as Dr Brad Law shows off the most exciting catch of the day (night?). A tremendous Greater Broad-nosed Bat! Only the 6th time we’ve caught one here in over 1200 bat captures overall!
