Happy #InternationalWomensDay! Huge congratulations to the 2025 University of Guelph-Humber Women of Distinction award recipients! Your leadership and impact inspire us all. A special shout-out to my 2nd-year psychology student, Paulina Sieczka, for being recognized for her achievements!

It was amazing to see UofGH (University of Guelph-Humber) students engaging in such thoughtful discussions on leadership at the Sophia Forum! Opportunities like these are great for fostering critical thinking, lifelong connections, and personal growth. Well done to all who participated! 👏

New book from the Assessment Group at EdUHK: link.springer.com/book/10.1007/9… In this book, we argue that student assessment literacy (SAL) is a core capability. We provide classroom strategies for frontline teachers and practitioners to formulate actionable approaches to developing SAL.

I’m deeply honoured to receive the Outstanding Mentorship Award University of Guelph-Humber. I’ve learned that mentorship is as much about listening and holding space as it is about guiding. Thank you to my amazing students and colleagues who make this work so meaningful. #Mentorship

Day 1 of our UoGH Psychology study abroad course to Ecuador & Galápagos Islands on Environmental Psychology. Enjoying Universidad San Francisco de Quito - beautiful campus, wonderful people, and a fantastic group of students from University of Guelph-Humber 😊 (and 👍👍 coffee).

Just back from Ecuador & the Galápagos - students in our Env Psyc University of Guelph-Humber course explored how people shape & are shaped by their env. From planting trees to cleaning up litter and discussing sustainability with local students and more, this course brought theory to life.

Grateful to my colleague Dr. Allison Reeves for leading this unique Psychology field course on Indigenous mental health. Through her longstanding relationships with Indigenous partners, University of Guelph-Humber students engaged in meaningful experiential learning with Indigenous Elders👇
