#Padakkalam: the kind of film you'd love watching with friends in a packed theatre. Sandeep is a star in making, it'll be certain with his next release as lead with the KK team. Arun's comic timing is spot on, he has all the chances to get casted in fun films in the near future.

#Narivetta: deserved a better screenplay with more emotional hooks. Tovino did well, especially in the pre-climax portions. Suraj had an extended cameo role. Jakes tried. Cinematography was good. Decent. Could've been better.

#Abhilasham: has the same old unspoken love idea, masterfully elevated by its very beautiful soundtrack. Nothing fresh to offer as a story or premise but the music work by Sreehari K will keep you hooked till the end. Worth watching solely for the music.

#DetectiveUjjwalan: is a half-baked whodunnit thriller with some comedic relief. The first half is engaging, with humor & tension building working well. However, the next half loses momentum, feeling rushed. Average. No comments on that tail end lead btw.
