A busy #Plaistow ward surgery today at St Andrew's Church Hall, with my colleague Cllr Tony McPartlan. There were many casework issues we can help on, or refer to #Bromley Council, plus we received a lovely thank you card and flowers from residents we assisted recently. 💐

It's a hot day today so I was out very early delivering our latest #Plaistow ward Community newsletter to the #Bromley residents Cllr McPartlan and I represent. Lovely to chat on the doorstep to a family I helped recently and hear their news.

I'm very pleased Labour has such an outstanding candidate for the Bromley Common & Holwood by-election on 24 July. Liz is a top finance expert and will be an exceptional councillor.

I was out this sunny Sunday morning with the excellent Elizabeth Morgan, #Labour's candidate in the #BromleyCommon & Holwood by-election on 24th July. Plenty of support for Elizabeth and many issues raised on items that need fixing in the ward.

I had an enjoyable visit to the Summer Fair at Parish Primary School in #Plaistow #Bromley today. A very busy event, so well run by FOPS (Friends of Parish School), to raise funds for the school.

I was a late entry into the afternoon team for Elizabeth Morgan today, out in #Bromley Common & Holwood, talking to residents about the difference a #Labour councillor will bring to their ward on 24 July.

I was out early this Sunday morning to speak to and thank the contractors working across the weekend to install brand new fencing along the London Lane side of London Road Cemetery in #Plaistow. This is #Bromley's oldest cemetery, opened in 1877.

Today I visited the St Andrew's Church Grand Summer Fete, in their hall next to the church in #Plaistow #Bromley. Well done to the organisers for the time and energy they put into organising such a lovely day and to stallholders coping with the heat. I left with plants and cake!

It was great to speak to residents around Southborough Ln and Oxhawth Cres yesterday on behalf of Elizabeth Morgan. Remember to send off your postal vote for Labour if you haven't already! 🌹🗳

Out early this morning talking to #Bromley #Plaistow residents picking up their newspapers & coffees I'm still waiting to hear from Council who is responsible for upkeep of small green area outside our refurbished library but the broken barrier is apparently on the works schedule
