Now, that’s some truth. Also, scientists never talk about what they do to relax or rest. Some people are machine-like, but most need a walk, a nap, a Netflix binge, or massage, etc. from time to time. Why don’t we ever talk about this?

In working with busy scientists, we commonly remind them of these 5 strategies for handling overwhelm: #1 Pinpoint the primary source of overwhelm. #2 Set boundaries on your time & workload. #3 Challenge your perfectionism. #4 Outsource or delegate. #5 Challenge your assumptions.
