A true North Manchester General Hospital legend retired today after 34 years (41 in the NHS!). It has been my absolute privilege to work with Vilma for the last 22 yrs - she is one of the original members of the CCOT. An outstanding nurse & an amazing, caring colleague & friend. We will miss her🥲

Fantastic work this week by our ICU team North Manchester General Hospital ...it takes a bit of planning & a lot of effort to take our ventilated pts outside...but seeing them in the garden, eating ice pops or enjoying a visit from their dog was amazing! 🙌👏
